Fushicho Daiko offers innovative, fun, inclusive classes and workshops for Taiko players of all ages, all physical abilities, and all skill levels - Taiko is for EVERYONE! Adult Try Taiko
One Time Class, Ages 11 and Up
Ever wanted to give Taiko a test run to see if it's something you'd like to pursue further? Come join Eileen Sensei for a single class of interactive, immersive, and immensely fun drumming where you'll learn the basics as well as your first song!
When: Typically first Saturday of the month, 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM
Cost: $20 for the one class
Introductory Adults
Beginner Group, Ages 11 and Up
Every new student starts in this class to learn the dojo’s tunes and the basics of Taiko, such as sticking, kata (form), rhythm, and team cooperation. Taiko is a fun way to immerse yourself in loud, energetic group drumming.
When: Saturdays, 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Cost: $75/month
Introductory Kids
Beginner Groups, Ages 5 - 10
This fun and energetic weekly class teaches kids how to channel their focus into learning their very first Taiko songs! They will work together as a team while utilizing their body and brains creatively, making new friends and memories along the way!
When: Saturdays, 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM
Cost: $50/monthly
